the cottage, Church Cottage, was spotlessly clean and had some thoughtful personal touches. the whole property was in immaculate condition and provided everything we could possibly need. It was well situated in the centre of the village but still beautifully quiet and peaceful. We loved the lovely private patio area and enjoyed being able to pop next door to the Saltwater cafe for breakfast, coffee, or dinner. the Craster Arms across the road was another great option. We also enjoyed the short stroll to the fantastic beaches and the longer walks to Low Newton, Seahouses, and Bamburgh. it was a great experience. Cons: Everything was great! 😊.

The bed linen and towels provided were of excellent quality, ensuring a comfortable and relaxing stay. The cottage had a lovely decor and felt spacious despite its size. Moreover, the cottage was conveniently located near cafes, pubs, and beautiful beaches, making it a perfect base for exploring and enjoying the surroundings. I highly recommend this cottage for a pleasant getaway.

The cottage was large enough for our group and had good facilities. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking meals and breakfast. Plus, the location was central with a café next door and two village pubs/hotels/restaurants nearby.
It was quite noisy, with birds from the church graveyard and people from the pub and early morning café goers. There were also some maintenance issues, like wear and tear on items that need addressing.

Great location, right by the beach and local amenities. Comfy beds and sofa, perfect for relaxing.
Old and malfunctioning TV and DVD player. Dirty bathroom with toothpaste spit and plug.

The location of this cottage was perfect, situated opposite a charming church and close to some great dining options like the Tower Hotel. The beds and sofa were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep after a day of exploring. I also loved the cozy log burner that added a touch of warmth and ambiance to the evenings.
While the cottage was nicely decorated, there were a few areas that needed improvement. The blinds in the bedrooms were worn out and let in too much light, and there was no blind on the landing by the bathroom which made me feel exposed.

When it came to breakfast options, I would have appreciated a bit more variety.
